Betty Webb is the teacher for the first through third grades this year at Grace Baptist Academy. She was born in Granite City, Illinois, and lived in Glen Carbon, Illinois, through high school. She lived in several different areas before moving to Mississippi. In October of 1985, during a revival service at Bible Baptist Church of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, she asked Jesus to forgive her of her sins and come into her heart. God gave her a burden and desire to work with kids not long after that. She has completed various teachers’ training courses.

Betty was a teacher's aide in a Christian school in Germany for one year. She was a teacher's aide in a Christian school in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, for three years. She taught twenty-three years at Faith Baptist School in Belleville, Illinois, until she and her family moved to Mississippi two-and-a-half years ago.

Betty is married to Larry Webb, a retired Air Force veteran. He does various jobs around the church and school. They have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and nine grandchildren.
