Kreg Carpenter

Principal

Kreg Carpenter was born on December 20, 1997, in Crown Point, Indiana, and is the eldest of three sons. From an early age, Kreg loved to meet new people and try new things.

Kreg trusted Christ as his Saviour at the age of four. He got the assurance of his salvation at eleven years old. During his freshman year of high school, Kreg felt called to work in Christian education, and he committed his life to the Lord at School Camp that year. Before moving to Mississippi, Kreg taught Sunday school for five years, coached baseball for eight years, and worked in an Awana-style kids’ club for three years.

Kreg enrolled at Hyles-Anderson College in 2016 and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in secondary education. In April of 2017, while in college, he started Carpenter Property Improvements, a full-service property-maintenance company located in Northwest Indiana. The company grew to seven employees within three years of operation.

Kreg married his high school sweetheart Stefanie in May of 2019. They have served together at Grace Baptist Church and Academy for three years. Their first child, Melissa Anne, was born in September of 2024.

Kreg enjoys all things traveling, loves supporting missions, and appreciates a quiet evening at home.
