Mary Marsh was saved at the age of sixteen after a year of attending the small Baptist church outside of Walton, New York, where she was born. That summer, she had the opportunity to travel with her friend Teresa, who was on deputation to raise support to go share the Gospel with the families on the Amazon River in Brazil. This was an encouraging experience for her. After graduating from high school and going to Bible college, she was married, and five years later, she and her husband knew that the Lord wanted them to serve Him in Christian education, which she has done for forty-three years.
